Our simple all-natural roasted chickens are a flavorful and healthy alternative to today’s rushed eateries. We pride ourselves on food that’s made from scratch daily, and we aim to provide you with fresh, not “fast” food in a casual, cozy environment centered on the art of cooking over a real wood burning fire.

From day one, founders Phil and Jeanette Sanders focused on perfecting the taste of chicken cooked on a rotisserie stacked with hickory wood. At the same time, they created our famous Twice-Baked “Potaters”, award-winning Chicken Enchiladas, Chicken Salad Sandwich and Homemade Peach Cobbler, which have all been on the menu since Cowboy’s inception.

In 2003 Phil Sanders sold the company and the North Dallas location to Malcolm Menter and Sean Kennedy. The duo continued serving the same delicious chicken and signature dishes; however, with the growing trend in the country to eat healthy, they added fresh salads, grilled skinless chicken breast and several nutritious sides: Baked Sweet Potato, Green Beans and Campfire Veggies, to the menu. Our standards have not changed; we’ve only improved on the concept in order to provide you with the best tasting food you’ve ever eaten! Braggin’ isn’t usually our style, so we invite you to check it out for yourself! We offer daily dining, delivery, online ordering and we cater for all occasions.
